Keith started with Aspire at the start of September 2020. Keith previously worked for Ernst & Young where he was involved in various areas of employment taxes and global mobility. Keith has spent most of his time advising in all areas of employment taxes, such as, IR35, construction industry, expenses and benefits and much more. Along with dealing with HMRC enquiries and employment tax audits and health checks, Keith also provided advisory services within the sports industry including Formula 1 and Formula E.
Keith previously worked for HM Revenue and Customs within their Large Business department in Birmingham. Keith would lead on ‘Know Your Customer’ compliance visits, along with Business Risk Review meetings with colleagues within other areas of business taxes. During his time at HMRC, Keith was involved in Employee Benefit Trust settlements and compliance as well as various employment tax settlements including Employment Status and IR35.
Keith built an excellent rapport with some of the largest and most complex businesses in the UK as well as some of the smaller and up-and-coming businesses in the market
