Dear Debra,

Greetings from Uganda, hope you are fine.

How is work?

The farm is fine and we are having rains at the moment, it is good news as our newly planted sweet potatoes and maize is growing well.

Kate has been here for 5 weeks working at the farm, she has done a great job, she has made new uniforms for the primary school and building a new hen house which is housing another 2000 hens. The building is finished and we are left with buying the chicks. We are in the process of having electricity at the farm as this is very important for lighting around the farm, providing heat for the new chicks as well as helping in some lessons like cookery, computer and tailoring. When Kate left we had done 70% of the process, installation and inspection. She is back to England trying to see that this electricity project is finished and done...lets pray she gets the support she needs. Am happy she is coming in June again to see these projects how they are doing and having a report about them.

Debra, thanks for all the support through Kate to the farm, I am pleased there is such a continuous financial help towards food production, hens and other related farm projects which largely sustain the children's village. Your contribution goes a long way in making this orphanage a better place for the destitute children of Masaka District. Thanks ever so much!

Hope you keep in touch with Kate to tell you her visit to the children's village once again, amazing stories all the time!

Kind regards to all your business partners.

Blessings
