Matthew Taylor is calling for evidence for his Labour Market Enforcement Strategy 2020 to 2021

16 December 2019

In a newly released consultation, Matthew Taylor, interim Director of Labour Market Enforcement, calls for evidence in order to set out the main issues and queries to inform his strategy for 2020 to 2021.

The consultation will focus the investigation on four leading labour market concerns: hand car washes, agriculture, social care and construction. The Director is also calling for evidence of non-compliance in other sectors in the industry with a hope to ensure that enforcement activity is as effective and efficient as possible in dealing with and preventing non-compliance in the labour market.

Matthew Taylor will take evidence from written feedback and round table meetings to hear views and evidence from stakeholders directly.

The deadline to respond is Friday 24th January 2020. To view the call for evidence, click here.
