"This has turned my dream into a reality"

13 September 2019

20-year-old Jordan Pimley from Stoke Heath is now one step closer to fulfilling a dream of becoming a professional racing driver.

The driving-enthusiast is part of the Porsche team that races in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, 24 hour of Le Mans, ELMS 4 hours of Monza and WEC 6 hours at Silverstone. But up until now, he didn't have a car to race.

This has all changed with the help of Alan Nolan. Jordan will be racing in the BRSCC Mazda MX5 Championship. He said: “I chose this car because the championship is a one-make series meaning the cars are all exactly the same and results emerge from driver talent. The championship series attracts a good size crowd which is great for sponsors and supporters."

Alan Nolan said: “Jordan has shown such talent on the non-competitive racing circuit and a true commitment and passion for the sport. He deserves to succeed. I believe that as a local businessman, it is my duty to support the community and provide help for talented people to fulfil their dreams.

We will continue to support Jordan in his quest to become a professional racing driver and enhance the profile of the town."
