The introduction of industry profiles are the next step in the GLAA’s Business Plan for 2019. The additional exposure that the GLAA hope to obtain will potentially place additional pressure on employers across various industry sectors to ensure they are operating compliantly to avoid GLAA intervention.

It is important to remember that once a company has a £36m turnover, it is imperative that you consider having a Modern Slavery Policy in place and make arrangements to publish an annual Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking statement on the company website. You may choose to publish a statement voluntarily even if you don’t meet the threshold.

If you are concerned about any of your obligations as an employer operating in one of these sectors,  please get in touch with Aspire to discuss how we can help.
