The Regulation of Umbrella Companies

Government has now published a consultation on the regulation of umbrella companies; “Make work pay: Modernising the Agency Work Regulatory Framework”.
The consultation asks 35 wide-ranging questions in consideration of whether the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 “the Conduct Regs” should be extended to include regulation of the umbrella sector.
