Giving to those in need at Christmas

In lieu of sending Christmas cards this year, Aspire decided to give back to the community by donating to three incredible charities.

Socks and Chocs is a charity that provides support to homeless people and those in need who are living in adverse housing conditions. Our donation will help the charity to relieve hardship by providing essential items such as bedding, toiletries and clothing, funding essential health needs and funding short term emergency accommodation particularly (but not limited to) times of cold or otherwise inclement weather.

Make a Wish is an incredible charity that grants the wishes and desires of critically ill children. They depend on our genorosity to help these children fullfil a wish, ranging from staring in their own film, meeting a celebrity idol or experiencing a holiday of a lifetime.

Additionally, each member of the Aspire team was tasked with filling a rucksack with non-perishable items and toiletries. The rucksacks were given to The Basement Project, a Bromsgrove-based charity who will distribute them around the area to those in need.
